In the video below, Matt Alkerton of Wildlife Control Services (WCS) Canada Store, explains the different parts, modifications and how to set the Belisle Foot Snare. The Belisle foot snare is used to humanely catch animals from foxes and coyotes to wolves and bears. It has been certified by the Fur Institute of Canada to meet the standards as set out in the Agreement on the International Humane Trapping Standards. It is a very effective way of catching the targeted animal and releasing any non-targeted animals without harm.
