This is the newest Cuddelink camera from Cuddeback, the L-series. With this camera say goodbye to cost prohibitive cell plans. With the Cuddelink system you can have up to 23 cameras in a daisy like chain sending to one cell home camera, spreading the cost of one cell plan across all of the connected cameras. If you don't want a cell plan that is fine too, the camera will still send to a home unit and you can check that unit to check all the cameras avoiding disruptions to all your areas. The Cuddelink system can reach ~1/4 mile through forested areas. Each camera can have 10 "links" (ie cameras) in its daisy chain, up to a maximum of 23 additional cameras in the whole network beside your home unit. This camera remains compatible with other firmware updated G-series and J-series cameras you may already have.
The camera itself has a 1/4 second trigger speed, camera delay from 5 seconds to 1 hour and patented Auto camera delay, uses an SD card to store photos (uptown 256 Gb), each image in imprinted with time/date, moon phase, and camera ID. This camera has an advanced back-lit user interface, an SD card door, an additional power connection for accessories (sold separate), and a 3rd generation animal detection sensor. The SD card door keeps moisture out while using the interface in the elements.
